I’ve never seen a toothbrush design as practical and smart as this and it’s worth every penny. The functionality of the Philips Sonicare HX9351/04 DiamondClean Electric Toothbrush is absolutely excellent and you’ll have a dentist-clean mouth every time. The dense diamond shaped head gets to nooks and crannies you thought only floss could and you should notice an improvement within two weeks.
This toothbrush is the best looking toothbrush on the market but it’s so much more than aesthetics, Philips have just zoned in on highly useful, highly innovative ideas and made them real. The USB travel case for this is hands-down awesome, especially in a day and age where toothbrushes need to be balanced precariously on their charging stands. No more. Want to use the wall plug? Fine, stick it in the glass and it’ll charge while lazing around on the windowsill.

Okay guys, look, we’re talking about toothbrushes here so it’s not really the most exciting thing you’re gonna read about today. Except…this Sonicare Diamond Clean actually is pretty exciting. Honestly, I’m not kidding.
This sleek, black, hidden-LED toothbrush does sort of look like something that you’d see on Star Trek but it’s full of awesome technology and comes with some seriously cool accessories.
The high density diamond shaped bristles get to more hard to reach areas and remove up to 100% more plaque than a regular toothbrush – this Sonicare makes your teeth feel cleaner than they do when you walk out of the dentist.

With five cleaning modes, this toothbrush will seriously help you combat stains and get significantly whiter teeth than before.
The five modes are easy to cycle between and all do something a little bit different:
- Clean – this is the normal daily cleaning mode and gives a brilliant all-round clean
- White – this mode is designed to specifically aid stain removal
- Polish – does what it says!

Now let’s talk about the cool stuff...
This black, space age Sonicare DiamondClean electronic toothbrush comes with two methods of charging. Both are massively useful. Firstly, it comes with a USB cord and wall adapter. Now you can charge your toothbrush by USB from your laptop or straight from the wall socket. Why has no one else thought of this?! Secondly, you can use the absolutely awesome charging glass.
Absolutely awesome charging glass. Just put your toothbrush in here and it will charge! You can also drink from it too!
The charging glass is a regular glass that you’d leave your toothbrush in, in the bathroom. Except that when you sit the glass onto the charging base (that has a wall plug), it charges the toothbrush as it just lies there. Magic? Totally. Because the glass is just a normal glass until it’s on the charging base, you can even use it to rinse your mouth out with. You’re dying for one right?
These two charging types make this toothbrush hands down my absolute favourite toothbrush to charge. Normal electric toothbrushes come with tiny stands on which you have to balance your toothbrush as it charges all day long. ‘Why?’ You cry. This means they’re impossible to charge in something that’s even slightly moving – like that yacht you’re going to charter this summer. The Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Electric Toothbrush has two kick-ass charging systems and that, combined with its general excellence, has won my heart big time.

The design of this toothbrush overall is innovative and stylish and who doesn’t want a stylish toothbrush? You have to use it at least twice a day, why not have a cool one? The matte black ceramic finish looks really smart and the controls are lit up when on and hidden when off.
With two timers in-built, this toothbrush also meets the technological functions that most other modern electric toothbrushes will have. It alerts you every thirty seconds, telling you it’s time to move to a different section of your mouth and it’ll let you know when your recommended two minutes are up by…well…turning off!
Oh and it has a super, suuuuper smart travel case that you can plug into USB to charge the toothbrush. Ahhh.
The travel case has a USB port on the side. Plug the included USB cable into the case and your laptop, PC, or provided wall charger and you can charge your toothbrush whilst it is in the travel case!
