Oral-B has kept its pressure sensor function in this model, a brilliant addition that tells you via a lit up strip on the handle that you’re brushing too hard. Over-brushing in this way can lead to weak, thinning enamel and can be just as detrimental to your oral health as under-brushing.

Gentle buzzer lets you know when to move to another mouth section
With a gentle buzzer built in to the handle, this Oral-B Pro 4000 will alert you every thirty seconds that it’s time to start brushing another section of your mouth for an even, squeaky-clean result. After two minutes in total, the buzzer will go off again, this time telling you that it’s time to stop brushing. This buzzer is great because it’s easy to get bored of brushing and quit before the recommended two minutes is up.
The toothbrush comes with several different modes that can be cycled through using the button. Daily Clean is the standard every day mode and from there you can keep your gums happy with the Gum Care massaging setting and also the Sensitive setting, for a gentler brush.
The charging base for this toothbrush is larger than previous models because it has a storage space for spare brush heads.
